Soaring sea birds catch the warm winds of the coast

The Elixir team were pioneers of goulette holidays, and we still set the standard for the best that a Turkish Mediterranean cruise can offer.

Our Mediterranean fleet is enriched by the addition of Green Duck & Albatros-F, both 21-metre goulettes in the finest Turkish tradition, luxuriously appointed throughout. Take in fresh sea breezes and clear blue skies from the comfort of the spacious deck. Enjoy an array of Mediterranean cuisine as our on-board chef and crew of three cater to your every delight, as well as sampling local delicacies at each new stop.

In fact, they are two splendid goulettes, beautifully appointed and ideal to provide the additional cruising accommodation we needed. We had a welcome problem to solve: every year, our coveted Serenity 70 sells out almost before anything else in our collection. This year we were determined to find some more boats of equal quality and these two charmingly named denizens fit the bill perfectly.

Like Serenity 70, both goulettes are 21 metres long and are suitable for two couples travelling together, or for a family with two or three children. In fact, Albatros-F has two master cabins and two double cabins, so it would suit two families of four.

All cabins on both goulettes are air-conditioned and have en suite shower rooms. Cabins are equipped with TVs and DVD players, as well as hair dryers - essential after a dip in the warm blue Mediterranean. The saloon areas of both boats have large plasma TVs with DVD players.

Your cruise includes full cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner, with unlimited tea, coffee and bottled water. Green Duck provides canoeing, water-skiing, snorkelling and fishing equipment. Albatros-F offers windsurfing, water-skiing, snorkelling and fishing, as well as a hammock and a barbecue.

Nothing gets you away from it all quite like the sea. There's a freedom and sense of adventure that no amount of landlocked entertainment or basking can match, especially when the engines go off and the sails billow out into the wind. We're delighted that the two new additions to our flock mean that more of our guests can experience the sheer exhilaration and true serenity of a Mediterranean gulet.
