The
Brochure
We take every reasonable step to ensure the accuracy of
our brochure and are confident that all the information
is correct at the time of going to print. However, during
the validity of the brochure, certain facilities or services
may change and clients will be advised of these prior
to departure, whenever possible. Should such an event
occur during your holiday, however, our local representatives
at the resorts will do their best to rectify the situation.
Special Requests
We pride ourselves on offering our clients
a personalized service and will make every effort to meet
any of your special dietary, room requests. If these are
particularly important factors in the choice of your holiday,
it is essential they are put in writing at the time of
booking. In the unlikely event that there is non-compliance,
please note that we do not hold any legal liability to
you whatsoever. |
Accommodation
Accommodation in all hotels, whatever the grading,
is based on the standard room category, unless otherwise stated.
The bed configuration remains at the discretion of the hotel
and whilst special requests, such as that for either double
or twin beds, will be forwarded to the hotel, they cannot be
fully guaranteed. Small and friendly accommodation may often
be better in our opinion than a large international hotel. Price
is a general indication of standard though we have in most cases
negotiated very good rates. We aim to provide the best accommodation
for each resort in which we specialize. And it is important
not to base your expectations on experiences of another country
or destination.
Check In / Check Out Times
Generally rooms and cabins will be available
for occupation between noon and 3 pm and should be vacated before
noon irrespective of your arrival and departure time, unless
we have stated otherwise. Sometimes it is possible to arrange
late check-out subject to availability and extra cost.

Credit
Cards
It is standard practice for hotels and car rental firms
to take a credit card imprint on check-in or delivery
of a car as a guarantee for incidental expenses. If you
do not possess a credit card, a cash deposit may be required,
which will be refunded at check-out or drop off the vehicle
less any incidental charges.
Views
A room may be described as seaview, parkview
and so forth. Such rooms may be partly blocked by trees
or buildings and it should be noted that a view cannot
be guaranteed as completely unobstructed. The view may
be obtained from the accommodation or its balcony, patio,
terrace or garden.
Air- Conditioning
Air-conditioning may be offered in hotels and operation
may be at the discretion of the hotel management so may
be limited to certain times of the year. When satellite
or television services are indicated we cannot guarantee
how may stations will be operating. |
Villas
Gas, electricity, water & heating are included
within the cost of your holiday. Bedroom and bathroom linen
are included though some accommodation do not supply pool/ beach
towels. Linen normally changed twice weekly.
Flights
Any information in this brochure is provisional
and subject to change. Confirmation at time of booking are made
in good faith but details should be determined from your airline
tickets. Since the brochure is printed far in advance for the
holiday departure, and often a holiday is booked far in advance,
it may be necessary to change the airline or the aircraft type
or the
timings for reasons beyond our control. This will be passed
on to you in advance when known. Such changes will not entitle
you to cancel or change to another holiday without paying our
normal cancellation charge (see Booking Conditions)

Delays
If you experience a flight delay it is unlikely that the
hotel will make a refund for any unused accommodation
and the airline concerned will not normally accept any
financial responsibility for lost time during your holiday.
Elixir cannot be held responsible for any delay that occur
during your holiday, but it may be possible for you to
claim from your holiday insurance when you return to the
UK.
Name Changes
Please note that once your flight has
been booked it is not usually possible to change it without
incurring a charge of £25. If you have booked a
scheduled flight or not flying on one of our advertised
charter flights, you will be charged up to the full value
of the original ticket. The name shown on your ticket
should exactly match your name as it appears on your passport,
so please make sure all names are given correctly at the
time of making your booking.
Holiday Documentation
All clients are responsible for ensuring
that they have a valid passport and must obtain visas
where applicable. |
Passport & Visa Requirements
British citizens are required to be in possession
of a ten-year passport with six months validity beyond the due
return date: children are now required to have their own passports.
British passport holders are required to purchase an extra visa
upon arrival to Turkey. The charge is £10 sterling per
person (children and infants must pay this too) payable in £
sterling.
Vaccinations
There are no compulsory inoculations required
to enter Turkey but you should check with GP for up to the minute
information.

Photographs
Photographs used in this brochure are used to give an
overall impression of the accommodation or resort areas
rather than to be specific. For example an item of furniture
that appears in the photograph may have been removed from
the accommodation: several villas of the same type may
be available but sizes and individual furnishings may
vary from those shown.
Unused service
No refund will be given for services pre-booked
but not utilised. Should you fail to use or make any changes
to any part of your itinerary without notifying us, your
onward arrangements will be automatically cancelled and
we will not be liable for any losses or expenses you incur.
Overseas Representatives
A company representative will meet you
when you have cleared customs in Turkey and direct you
to the transportation provided for onward travel to your
resort, Our local representatives will visit you regularly
and will be on hand to provide advice and assistance if
required. Our representatives are based in Istanbul, Cappadocia
and Kusadasi and are supported by our head office in Kas.

Transfers
The price of your holiday includes all transfers
in Turkey, including two and multi-centre holidays. Transfer
times as follow.
DALAMAN to Gocek 25 mins,~ Fethiye/Hillside Beach Club I hr;
Kalkan 2hrs; Kas 2.5hrs, ISTANBUL to City center 30 mins. KAYSERI
to Cappadocia 55mins. ANTALYA to Kas 3hrs, -Kalkan 3.5hrs. Dalaman
to Bodrum 3 hours, Bodrum to city centre 45 minutes. All transfer
times shown are approximate and dependent on local conditions,
such as traffic, weather etc.
Children and Infants
Infants under the age of two on the date of
return travel are carried free on our charter flights providing
they are not occupying a seat. On scheduled flights there is
a charge of £45 per infant. Infants must be included on
a booking as they require a flight ticket, but they do not qualify
for any baggage allowance
Your Holiday Price Includes
- Return flights between the UK and overseas
airport
- 20 kilos baggage allowance per person (excluding infants)
- All airport taxes and security charges
- In flight meals, appropriate to the time of day
- Transfer between the overseas airport and resort accommodation,
including water taxis where appropriate and between resorts
on multi-centre holidays.
- A welcome hamper on self catering holidays (first resort only)

Our London office is normally open seven days a week throughout
January, February and March and during other busy booking
periods.
Monday to Friday 9.30am - 6.00pm
Saturday 10.00am - 5.00pm
Sunday 10.00am - 4.00pm
How to pay
1) Cheque:a £30 discount is offered
on all final balances paid by cheque.
2) Credit Cards:a 2.5% charge is applied to all credit
card transactions for administrative reasons. We accept
Visa, Mastercard
and Amex.
3) Debit Cards: are accepted without charge or discount |
Mini cruise & Private Yacht
Charters
You are requested to take on board a minimal
amount of luggage in a small case due to space; all other luggage
may be stored by our Resort Staff until you disembark. The final
itinerary will be determined by the Captain in accordance with
prevailing local circumstances. Photographs show the goulettes
with sails erected; you are reminded that goulettes operate
with motors so the sails are largely aesthetic. Goulettes are
not airconditioned during the night when power to the generator
is switched off. You are reminded that there is a bar on board,
from which the crew derive limited income. The bar tariff will
be priced in accordance with local rates and it should be noted
that you are not permitted to take on board your own alcohol
supplies. We reserve the right to amend the itinerary, alter
the point of embarkation and/ or disembarkation due to operational
reasons.
